Ishmael has worked on pools since 2018. He knows the trade from the first skim to a full rebuild, and he still gives every client his personal attention.

2018

Into the trade at 19

Ishmael joined a pool company and learned the work from the ground up: cleaning, chemistry, pumps, filters and repairs.

2023

Door to door in the Helderberg

When his contract ended, Ishmael built his own client base. He cycled from door to door in the Helderberg and offered to clean pools.

2024

Mother City Pools (Pty) Ltd

In early 2024 that hard work became a registered company, Mother City Pools.

Today

A full-service pool team

We do maintenance, repairs, renovations, fibreglass installations and new builds across the Helderberg and greater Cape Town.
